        Comments about M7R:

I have been buying LED Lensor flashlights for years. One was stolen. One, my German Shepherd buried in the yard (which i found later, and it amazingly still worked, but was weathered so i gave it away). Third one, i have, still works, but got tired of buying batteries. I don't write reviews... ever. so that should tell you something. But this M7R.... there is no better flashlight in the world.

          Comments about M7R:

I use my M7R for my security job. There are a lot of program options, but I chose a simple one: clicking the button gives regular bright light, and touching the button turns on the 'tactical defense strobe'. The other programs seemed too complicated for the quick use I need.
I want a brighter flashlight, but I chose 400 lumens and that's what it delivers. It's nice and small but still has a little heft to it, the clip works great, and the beam focuses nicely when you adjust the head. And the most important and most handy feature is that it is rechargeable! No spending a fortune on batteries. This flashlight is totally worth it. I will definitely (and already have) recommend this flashlight to my friends and coworkers.

          Standard Issue PPE

                Comments about M7R:

First and foremost… Led Lenser flash lights are a staple in my life, at home, at play but most importantly at work. I purchased my first Led Lenser, a M7R in Witbank South Africa for use while working in the aging and dimly lit power plants scattered across the country. Over the years I have used literally hundreds of lights from various manufactures and NONE compare to the Led Lensers. Most folks in my industry rely on two lights in particular, the Pelicans and Stream Lights, more on the later of the two mentioned, both good lights. Back in the day the trusty Mag Lights were standard issue and as the newer lighter more compact and brighter lights started coming on the market Mag Lights quickly lost their "shine".
I personally consider my Led Lensers to be a standard issue requirement and an everyday part of my PPE – Personal Protective Equipment while on the job. I seldom go into the field without two of them with me – one for me and one for the guy I will most likely come across that either doesn't have a flashlight or has a crummy light that is more a source of aggravation than an asset.
My professional requirements in a flash light are simple:
                1. Rechargeable – I don't want to change batteries or have to disassemble my light every 8 – 12 hours to change batteries or have to remove a rechargeable battery due to a thoughtless design.
                2. Durability - I have dropped a X7R 35 meters to the concrete below and it still works perfectly to this day.
                3. Compact and BRIGHT – consistently bright for the duration of battery life.
                4. Light Weight – a three cell D-size gets heavy towards the end of a 12 hour shift.
                5. Weather Proof – able to stand up to wet dirty environments.
I leave my floating charger plugged into my docking station for my laptop right on my desk, the system is the absolute best I have come across on the market today – I want to stress this point, the convenience is unmatched.
I currently own and have extensively field tested the following Led Lenser models:
                • Three M7R's (my personal favorites)
                • Two M7RX's
                • Three X7R's
                • One P5R
                ZERO failures.
