Comments about P5R.2:

I mainly use this as a everyday/everything light, from camping, car repairs, computer repairs; anywhere I need extra light. When I first received it in the mail I was quite impressed in the case it came in, then I opened it and was amazed at how small it was and that it was as bright as it is... that being said, I may buy a bigger and even brighter light. One thing I don't like about it is the difficulty in turning the light on/off with gloves on. But overall I recommend the product/brand to anyone that see's it based on quality and dependability.

    Comments about P5R.2:

I work in the maintenance field and always have a light and a Leatherman on me (usually 2 of each). After using lights with primary cells for so long and becoming weary of changing the batteries all the time, I opted for a rechargable option. However I also wanted something that had a focusable beam and was similar in size to my current light, which used a single AA. This light is the only QUALITY product I could find in those parameters. And so far, I love it.

The beam of this light is so clean. I was impressed with the videos I watched of it, but was blown away in person. The flood is just... perfect, it's almost strange looking. Like a literal wall of light. And the spot is the tightest I've seen in any light of this form-factor.
The adjustment of the beam is so easy and quick as well. I took the head off and the design of the mechanism is pretty genious. And easy to maintain when it needs to be cleaned. Talk about a bright candle! With the head off (don't touch the LED), this little light is a PERFECT tent light. The lanyard supplied would also aid in this use. Just too bad it can't tailstand, would be even better for blackouts at home.

All things considered, I love this light. It's so fun to use and is really simplistic and good looking. The operation of it is also nicely minimalistic. None of that over-complicated memory modes and programmable functions. Some people may be into that stuff but it's starting to get out of hand I feel. I like a few modes and a strobe, if possible. Which is what this light has. It's great. Comes in a really cool plastic case too.

The lack of a slim, deep-carry type of pocket clip is the reason this isn't getting a perfect score from me.
