Definitely recommended

Since first receiving the HF6R Core headlamp I immediately started putting it to the test. As a maintenance technician, I often find myself working within machines in some poorly lit circumstances. So, having a solid headlamp that has a variety of brightness levels and beam patterns is essential. The HF6R did everything I required from it and maintained power for the entirety of my shift when I needed it. The headlamp feels very durable. I love the range of motion on the swivel for the lamp. The band fits comfortably on my head, but also feels very solid and secure. The focus options are visually clear, and easy to adjust with the focus wheel. I was able to use it perfectly both for and dimmer projects like working closely inside of a machine, and brighter required activities such as running at night. My only potential concerns would be oil/debris (gunk) getting inside of the focus wheel cavity when adjusting it while working. This could be difficult to clean once it gets inside. In addition, I'm unsure how long the integrity of the rubber on/off button will maintain over time with oily fingers continuously contacting it while working. However, I have yet to see any of these issues. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and coworkers. Star Rating: 5/5
