The Ledlenser P5R is a rechargeable, high power LED flashlight that is lightweight and compact, so it’s a perfect everyday carry or around-the-house companion. Because of its lithium-ion battery, it has a runtime of 3 hours on regular power mode and 15 hours on low power. The P5R comes with Ledlenser’s patented Floating Charge technology, with an included wall mount so you can mount it in your garage, storage closet, or wherever you need it, and have it charged at all times. This floating charge system is powered by magnets, making the P5R a perfect grab-and-go handheld light anytime you need it most. It also can be charged on the go with the included USB cable. It comes equipped with Ledlenser Advanced Focus System, which allows you to quickly go from a close-up wide flood beam to a sharply focused long-distance beam. Over all this flashlight (P5R) is an amazing flashlight. I am a facilities maintenance engineer and need and use a good flashlight nearly everyday. I bought one several years ago and never regretted it. The flash light is so good that several people I've shown the flashlight to, have bought one. I have bought three of these. one was the first one the second was for my wife a couple years later and the third one was because I lost my first one somewhere (still hoping to find it). my boss even had to buy one. I keep a new battery in a drawer for when the old one finally dies. The battery lasts 4 to 5 years to the way I use it. I use it throughout my usual work day for maybe an hour total each day and sometime longer. it'll only last about two hours of constant use at full brightness and that is to be expected. I have yet to find a different flashlight that is superior withing the same form factor. as far as I am concerned, the P5R is the best flashlight on the market in its class (size weight brightness durability and battery time. you can get brighter lights from LEDlenser and I'm certain they will not disappoint. the fact that everyday i can put it on the magnetic charger when i go home and then when i get to work the next day, just put it in my pocket and its fully charged and ready for the day means I don't need to fiddle around with batteries all the time. for what I do and how I use this flashlight it is just perfect. the only problem is that sometimes the light is just too bright. But that's okay because with the click of the button it goes to a much dimmer setting. Did I mention the amazingly annoying strobe it also has? No? well that strobe will definitely get most anyone's attention very quickly. The strobe can be very disorientating (I think that is the point). In summary, this is a VERY well made and highly useful flashlight and extremely bright for when or wherever you might need it. like crawl spaces, attics camping, working on cars, inspections, finding tiny lost items on the floor the list is endless. Yes I recommend the PR5.
