Floating rechargeable wonder. The Ledlenser P5R is a rechargeable, high power LED flashlight that is lightweight and compact, so it’s a perfect everyday carry or around-the-house companion. Because of its lithium-ion battery, it has a runtime of 3 hours on regular power mode and 15 hours on low power. The P5R comes with Ledlenser’s patented Floating Charge technology, with an included wall mount so you can mount it in your garage, storage closet, or wherever you need it, and have it charged at all times. This floating charge system is powered by magnets, making the P5R a perfect grab-and-go handheld light anytime you need it most. It also can be charged on the go with the included USB cable. It comes equipped with Ledlenser Advanced Focus System, which allows you to quickly go from a close-up wide flood beam to a sharply focused long-distance beam. This Rapid Focus mechanism gets light to where you need to see most. The P5R has two power modes and strobe function, with 420-lumen output that has a strong beam distance of up to almost 790 feet.

Purposefully built, and an EXCELLENT torch output.
Tiny lil torch but big bright light output
This is my second P5R. I'm still using my first one daily at work. I love that its a rechargeable. I'll use it for a couple days or so and then just place it in the charger which is magnetic and mounted on a convenient wall. I didn't need a second one but my wife kept demanding I give my P5R to her. Instead of giving it to her I just bought her one of her own. I've also convinced my boss to get himself one as he kept using mine. Our company likes them enough to pay for them for us as well. This flashlight is very bright. At times it can actually be too bright and you don't really want to look directly into the beam. The focus feature really adds even more usability along with the low mode and strobe. I only use the strobe to irritate my boss. and that is okay because he does it right back with his own P5R. I've had mine long enough to have to purchase a new rechargeable battery. I recommend buying yourself one if you make use of a reliable light on a near daily basis. It's sized pretty nicely and does not overwhelm your pockets and fits in your hand very well. If you're in the HVAC or security or plumber, elevator mechanic, building engineer industry, truck driver or any time you would need a flash light this one is very much an excellent investment. Also great for camping hiking, taking out the dogs for a evening ***** break, working on the car, finding a tiny lost item, looking under furniture, trip to the crawlspace or attic. If you want/need a good flashlight that is powerful and portable and convenient, the P5R is the perfect choice.
I love these lights, or torches as they say. I'm an auto tech, and keep this light on my side at all times. I have been using the P5R model for 5 years now. This light is rugged, charges fast, and has the perfect beam intensity. Most lights in production strive for huge lumen numbers, or the complete opposite. The P5R is bright enough to walk down a dark path, but not so bright that it is blinding when using it as a work light. It's the perfect flash light for anyone in a hands on industry.
We have 5 of different LEDLENSER models. This one is the fin balance of size and brightness. And the charging adapter is easier to use than MT models. Very high quality. Just hope the battery can last longer.
