It All Started With A New Battery ...

... but that didn't solve the problem of the P5R, after 15 years of solid service, not performing correctly. Led Lenser said send it in, so I did. About a week later I received a brand new P5R complete rig in a beautiful gift box! This little all-powerful flashlight is an essential tool for me and I was compensating for my loss with a Led Lenser P7, but it's bigger and serves as my backup flashlight. The P5R is just perfect and to get it back - brand new - was phenomenal. And, believe it or not, the "old" original battery still works, but now I have two replacements on stand-by. Thank you Led Lenser for your generosity, providing a reliable sturdy product, and good-faith commitment to stand by your Warranty. Led Lenser is a best-loved company.

The battery works fine after it charged. My only complaint is the $9.99 UPS delivery charge when it could have been mailed by USPS at a minimal rate!
