my F1R originally came with a 2200 mAh after almost 3 years I bought these new 3400 mAh batteries because I believed that the battery had reached the end of its life but the new one only last as long as the old battery I get about 20 minutes of full power with the new battery that should last 3 hours
I always worry about my battery wearing out in the field. So I bought this one as a "backup" just in case the battery that came with my new LEDLENSER Headlamp went dead on me or did not work properly. How I hate to think that I did not have a backup battery. I guess I would be in the dark!
Flashlight was not holding a charge. I would charge the ok’d battery over night and install in the light the next day. It would immediately start blinking indicating low charge. So I purchased this battery. Charged it upon arrival and the flashlight began doing the same thing upon the first use of the battery.
I purchased the 3400 mAh Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for my LEDlenser ML6 Lantern so that I would have a spare. The lantern comes with a stock 3000 mAh OEM battery. Using a battery analyzer made for testing of Lithium Ion 18650 batteries, I placed both batteries side by side. I ran four tests that Charged/Discharged and Charged again. I wanted to both exercise the new batteries, as well as compare their performance 3000 mAh vs 3400 mAh. Surprisingly the 3000 mAh battery out performed the 3400 mAh battery by a great deal. This was disappointing to have purchased a top notch battery so I would have extra capacity for my ML6 Lantern. Perhaps the company should question their supplier. The 3400 mAh battery was left in the dust. 3000 mAh LEDlenser Battery 3400 mAh LEDlenser Battery Test #1 3263 mAh 3137 mAh Test #2 3269 mAh 3176 mAh Test #3 3357 mAh 3178 mAh Test #4 3316 mAh 3179 mAh
Great and love the head light——use it every day
