Game changer

The adaptive light beam is truly a game changer. When you move from a large area to a small area the light dims and refocuses so you have just the right amount of light. While you can also manually adjust the light, the real magic is in the LEDLENSER connect app. The app is very easy to use. In it, you can manually adjust the light, set up profiles for specific repeatable use situations, set up timers, and set up features. The app makes the lamp super customizable. Battery life seems to be as advertised, and the amount of light is incredible. This is so much more than just a headlight!

I recently took my new HF8R Core headlamp for a spin when I went camping last week with my husband and our dog in a dispersed campground area along the river here in Oregon. I opened up the box and checked out the paperwork and instructions which were very self explanatory and I quickly figured out how the head lamp worked without any issues, so it's very user friendly I guess you could say. When I was making dinner as the sun was setting my husband lit our campfire so I used the headlamp and wore it as a necklace to help shed some extra light while I started cooking our campfire dinner. I loved that it was hands free and once I needed more overhead light I could use the light on my head to see better when I was cooking. Our dinner came out great and I had no issues with not having enough light. I also really liked the automatic adjusting feature the headlamp had and when I had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I enjoyed using the night setting which was red and helped me see very well in the dark. Long story short I LOVE IT, excellent product and I certainly recommend it.
